MetaMask – Ethereum Browser Extension
MetaMask allows users to view Ethereum’s blockchain from within their browser. The extension allows the user to perform Ethereum transactions from within the web browser.
How does it work?
MetaMask extensions add Ethereum’s web3 APIs to any Javascript context. When you open a website, the extension will allow you to access the blockchain-related information. The information includes the Ethereum addresses and associated balances, the Ethereum address of each wallet, the balance of the contract address, and the number of transactions performed.
A wallet is created immediately after a user signs in to MetaMask. This wallet allows the user to move tokens between addresses, withdraw funds, and transfer them between wallets.
